DO I HAVE A SATISFACTION GUARANTEE?

All shears come with a 100% money backed guarantee provided we are contacted within one week* of purchase.
Damaged shears are non refundable. But they are repairable. Please see shipping and return policies on the bottom of the home page.
Shears are warranteed against defects by the manufacurer.

HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY CARRY ALL THE SHEARS YOU HAVE LISTED?

In fact we can't. Due to the availability or lack thereof shears are frequently not on our premises when they are ordered. What should give the consumer peace of mind is the fact that we are authorized dealers for all these scissor companies. Often we have shears shipped to us for inspection before shipping. If a customer is in a big hurry we may choose to have them drop shipped. If we do not trust the quality control of a particular company we will inform the hairstylist of a slight delay in the process so we can give the particular shear our stamp of approval. In some cases shears come to us from Japan and are hermetically sealed. In this case we have to make a judgement call.

COULD YOU EXPLAIN WHY YOU CARRY SO MANY SHEARS?

Thats an easy one. Anyone experienced with selling shears to hairdressers knows that each stylist has different requirements and different shaped hands. That's why its difficult to buy an experienced hairdresser a new pair of shears unless you know exactly what they are looking for. This is not necessarily the case for recent grads. They are willing to try new things and are not yet locked in to a particular shear. Our company has different criteria for selecting a scissor company.

  • The reputation of the shear is most critical.
  • The customer service department must back up their product. Are they easy to reach?
  • Are the shears available? Or, are they hard to get.
  • Are they a good value?

ARE ALL THE LISTED  SHEAR PRICES SET IN STONE?

Absolutely not. Due to market fluctuations all listed prices are subject change . The good news is that you as a consumer will be notified of any pricing change before the order is processed. Because of the large volume of shears we carry it's not possible to edit all prices every week. A shear that is not a stock item may be more expensive the next time we go to buy it.
Examples of shears that tend to fluctuate are Tara, Kasho, Omega and Matsuzaki.

WHY BUY FROM TNS INSTEAD OF BUYING DIRECTLY FROM THE MANUFACTURER?
